Nippy 1
The Nippy 1 is a pressure limited, time cycled ventilator, which ventilates patients non-invasively via the nasal mask. The Nippy 1s widely used in patients with muscle weakness, chest wall deformity and, more recently, airflow obstruction. It is servo controlled, compensating for any leaks around the mask. |

Nippaed
The Nippaed is a pressure controlled intermittent positive pressure ventilator, which also delivers PEEP. It can be used non invasively or via a tracheotomy. It compensates for leaks in the breathing circuit and has a servo system which adjusts the airflow to maintain the preset working pressure. The Nippaed can be used as a patient triggered device (breathing initiated by the patient). |
